Host is extremely friendly and ready to suggest local restaurants and other places to go. Large room was comfortable and AC worked good. Loved the little onsen bath. The location was beautiful, hidden off the historic road lined by giant cedar trees.

This was a lovely place, they were waiting for us with a map and a lot of information of the city, the room was big, a lot of space to save stuff. The breakfast were incredible and free! i really loved it , and even when we returned in the night they have some fruits and miso for us they were really kind and a lovely persons, I felt like home.

They helped us with planning our day trips and were really nice to us. We ate breakfast, and it was great and worth the price. The rooms are big and comfortable, with all the required facilities.

Spoke good English. The facilities were all super clean. The guesthouse has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Very close to the lake with good views of it. Peaceful. Close to bus stop that takes you to all the major attractions in Nikko,so it's a good place to set up as a base to explore.

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and slippers, the units at the bed and breakfast have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms here will provide you with a terrace. At the bed and breakfast, all units have bed linen and towels. This was our favorite stay in Japan! Izumi-san is a very kind person who did everything to make the stay as cozy as possible. We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nikko. Thank you, Izumi-san! :)
