The living room is great and wants you to stay overlooking the rice patties all day long.

Manami helped us rent e-bikes and gave us wonderful day-trip plans and cultural insights we would never have discovered on our own. Staying here felt like touching the true spirit of old Japan while enjoying modern comforts. For us, it was a dream place. There is a free parking very close by which is very convenient as a car is really necessary if you want to explore the island. The host who is fluent in English is very kind and attentive to his guests. He prepared the most delicious breakfast every morning for us (substituting ingredients for me as I am a vegetarian) and gave us helpful recommendations for hiking, eating, etc. around the beautiful and peaceful island of Tsushima. Our tatami room was bright and very clean. The bathroom and separate toilet are shared with another room but really this is not inconvenient at all. The local public baths have a view of the sea and we enjoyed going there very much.
