The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing - so many of the ingredients were from their own backyard or farm. And the hiking lunch pack was a perfect energy boost. I can’t say enough good things but everything was so comforting and it was nice to feel a bit of Japanese home life in Yakushima

Location is close to the Ferry Jet foil port, restaurants to eat out or Grocery store near the port, souvenirs shops and an Outdoor store for any hiking/outdoor needs in Anbo area. Comfortable space with in-house clothing, shared bathroom, showers and laundry. Pamphlets of information. Host will help with any question. Overall, it was a peaceful comfortable stay 👍👍
