Dinner includes our special Mikuniya curry. We also offer private baths and rental bicycles. In the shared lounge, you can enjoy Japanese cultural experiences like calligraphy and origami, and meet people from all over the world. The property was amazing and the host was super kind and polite. The room was an old style Japanese room with futon. Breakfast and dinner were also good. Bathrooms are shared but very clean. The common area is a plus where you can meet other people and share experiences. I totally recommend it.

The property is a traditional Japanese house, typical of the Miyajima region. Beautifully preserved and with contemporary furniture that they managed to combine in an extraordinary way. The house is very small, so it has only one room, this makes you practically rented not a room, but the house complete with your own Japanese interior garden, its doors of Japanese paper, by the way very beautiful. They place incense, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. An extraordinary experience to rest in a Ryokan in a magical destination. Kousu Ke takes care of the property and was an extraordinary person, kind and very helpful. He solved a problem for me with the shipment of a package that he had lost at a destination prior to our arrival, and made sure I received it at my next destination. There cannot be a better host. The location is unbeatable, a couple of blocks from the main street. Walking to the bay took you through the little streets of traditional houses, and you could see the residents going about their daily lives.

The owner is so kind and helpful. He helped us out so much and even drove us to the ferry. If you are ever in Onomichi don’t hesitate to book this place, the kindness and hospitality of the owner alone is enough to make the stay worthwhile.

It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

Such a beautiful place to stay, very easy to get to from Hiroshima station. I loved getting to stay in a quieter part of Hiroshima. The guesthouse was so clean and quiet and peaceful. Phenomenal hike that's just a few minutes walk from the guesthouse that isn't too long and had stunning views. Highly, highly recommend!
