My host Laura gave me a great room and gave me very good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in town. Breakfast was excellent, I could choose from a menu and everything was ready when I arrived. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean every single day when I came back, had a super comfortable bed and despite not being a deluxe room I still had a great view of the garden. Amenities in the bathroom were a good surprise, they even had a dental kit with a toothbrush and since I had forgotten mine this saved the day. When I explained to Laura that I had to leave early morning to catch my train she arranged a bag with breakfast items so I wouldn't leave on an empty stomach. The property was also very safe, everything is password-locked but it was still easy to come and go.

We got a room facing the back patio that was very quiet considering the buildings is in the middle of Florence. The bed is delicious. Staff is great. If you can avoid driving a car into Florence’s downtown area, I really recommend it; it’s chaotic and streets are very narrow. But if you end up taking a car, the staff will help you get it picked up at the front door of the building to be taken to a garage.
