What a perfect place to stay when visiting Matera. We checked in late and the owner was fantastic about giving us all of the specifics of how to check in. It is a perfect location to walk to everything. Breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay here again. Perfect!

Our landlord frederica and her family gave us a very warm welcome. The location of the apartment is about 5 minutes walk, so super close, to the old town. They gave us valuable tips for the old town tours, must-sees and restaurants right at check-in. The apartment is in a really quiet location with a great breakfast in the morning. When we wanted to leave Matera in the morning our car was unfortunately towed away. Our mistake. With the help of Fredrica we were able to locate the car. Pascale, her husband, was super helpful with picking up the car and communicating with the towing service and police. Many thanks to both of them. Mille Grazie Rita & Werner

Everything is perfect. It’s a neat, clean and cozy nest. The place is renovated and decorated with taste, the old stone and carved ceilings are fantastic. Nicola takes good care of you, including a complete explanation of how to tour properly the city. The location is perfect, few hundred meters and you’re strolling along the cobblestone streets. Will come back!

Owners very helpful and gave us immediate response to our queries. Though they were not present they have a very efficient system for check in. They even had our room prepared before the actual check in time, something very rare. They even gave us a souvenir and free coffee and croissants.

The room is a typical and charming Sassi. It is very clean and the bathroom new; the shower was also great. All the staff are very polite and available for any question! The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere and see everything from there. Even so, the room was very quiet — we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. They also helped us with parking, which was incredibly convenient! The breakfast was amazing.
