The staff were amazing! Every corner looks like it came straight out of Pinterest, and the room is incredibly spacious with its own balcony. The shower feels so homey, the breakfast is to die for, and its proximity to the Taj Mahal is ideal. It’s also close to great cafés for a good cappuccino. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down and unwind after a long, tiring day. You can never go wrong with this place!

This being our 1st trip to Varanasi and what a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful resort with such friendly and caring host and staff. The owner was wonderful and the place is taken care of with so much of love and attention to detail. The garden was beautiful and was set in a very serene environment. With the hustle and bustle of Varanasi it was always great to come back to the peace and tranquility. 10/10 for this place.

The Ashram is very close to the temples I wanted to visit & get the feeling of it. All the staff were very nice and kind. It is also in a short distance to Taj Mahal, so you can walk. On the rooftop, there is a little paradise made up of garden and a spectacular view of the city. The owner allowed me to stay there after check-out and wait until it was time to leave for the station.

Our room was perfect, we slept like babies, the water hot and pressure was awesome! Location is prime, right off the Ghats but still quiet enough to get all the rest you need! Vishnu is known for his delicious chai and heartfelt conversation! He knows everything and everyone in Varanasi and can help you plan and execute your adventures with a quickness.. He truly cares about his guests and genuinely wants the best for you! If you want to go on a real adventure ask him about his street food tour, so awesome!! Over all we loved our stay and will always choose Maa Durga and Vishna when we visit Varanasi!!! Thank you for everything!!!

There was no AC, but the ceiling fan was perfect - we slept great. The hot shower was also nice. Sona is very helpful and organized with activities around the city. She also arranged airport transportation for us, which was very helpful. We had a cooking class with her, which was great! She’s an excellent cook and her English is very good. The location was also good. Keep in mind it’s a bit of a far walk to the main area where most of the food restaurants seem to be, but it’s very convenient for Assi Ghat, which is nice for the morning Aarti ceremony and for the sunrise boat tour. Overall a great stay!
