We've been travelling in India for 7 weeks and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the rest of the property was the same. The location is excellent with everything walking distance away. Shaan and his staff were really helpful and ensured our stay was very enjoyable with restaurant recommendations and reservations for the local cultural centre to enjoy traditional dance.

The owner, Gabriel, made our stay extremely comfortable, making us delicious breakfasts, drinks and organizing all of our tours and transport for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The homestay is situated in a quiet area of the town, surrounded by beautiful nature, but still only 60 rupees into town in a tucktuck We hope to stay again sometime!

The location was perfect for us, and our room had a spectacular view. We enjoyed spending time relaxing and enjoying the view over the tea fields and mountains. Of particular note was the beautiful food that Sylvie prepared for us. We ended up eating all of our meals here, and everything was so delicious! Our favourites were the parotta and chicken curry set, the fish curry, vegetarian kerala style meals and the fish fry (but everything was really good). Sylvie also took us for a local sightseeing tour which we enjoyed very much. Her family are all very nice as well.

The atmosphere of this place is just unbeatable, I just regret that I couldn’t spend more time there. The location is a little off the beaten track, but it is definitely worth relaxing in this beautiful oasis. The owner, David, will make everything possible to make your staying and your departure (he also booked train tickets for us) as smooth as it can be.

The staff is a cute indian family, they are so sweet and kind. AC and fan works well. We would recommand you the rooms downstairs in the main traditional entrance in front to the garden. If you rent 2 rooms you will feel completely in a private place. Enjoy !
