It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

We were also very lucky that we got to meet their dog Harvey who is usually kept away from guests, but he came to say goodbye and is absolutely gorgeous! The house is meticulously kept, and Bernie and Declan are lovely, friendly hosts. Breakfast included their own farm’s eggs and meats, with homemade breads. This stay made the end to a two week stay in Ireland so special and memorable!

The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast provided a great start to our daily biking adventures, and they had a secure place to store our bicycles overnight. This meant we could rent them for our entire stay and didn't need to return them to the rental place each day. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and offered us a great accommodation experience.

Our amiable host Anne went out of her way to make our (too short) stay pleasant. We got a welcoming tea right upon our arrival and found our room to be not only pretty, but with very comfy beds and mattresses, a sparkling clean room and bathroom and lots of nice extras like hand lotion. The Irish breakfast was outstanding, it was our first one in this country and Anne had everything prepared freshly, even the bread was home-baked by her. The rural area makes for a wonderful deep sleep and we will definitely recommend this place and top on our list of places to stay again and for longer then! It is a very warm and welcoming house that displays genuine Irish spirit and a tasteful decoration all over, too!

All units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀

This 4-star bed and breakfast offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge. Athlone Train Station is 8 km away and Athlone Town Shopping Centre is 8.5 km from the bed and breakfast. It was beautifully fitted out. Location was close to town but far away to be so very quiet. The surroundings were gorgeous. Communication was excellent. Hosts were fantastic!
