I stayed at Tom Blake House recently as I was attending a function in the locality. This is a very charming property and very centrally located within Kells. Our guestroom was quite spacious and very tastefully decorated and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hosts David and Avril were very welcoming and offered to drive us to the function we were attending, which we thought was very kind. We arrived early and they accommodated us which was very much appreciated. For breakfast, there was a number of options. We opted for a traditional Irish breakfast which was absolutely delicious and the coffee was excellent, A beautiful property with great hosts and I would highly recommend.

An elegant 18th century property set in the historic town of Trim, Highfield House Guesthouse offers all guests free Wi-Fi access. The award winning accommodation boasts magnificent views of Trim Castle, The Yellow Steeple, and the River Boyne. Top class!! The property is picture postcard perfect. Wonderful accommodating hosts with helpful local knowledge, and the most stunning gardens with views. Our only regret is that we did not allow ourselves more time to enjoy the property and the town of Trim. Also, it took us one hour of driving at peck time to drive to Dublin Airport drop off our rental and get to the terminal.

The Lodge was warm with comfortable beds, and we were given a helpful welcome pack on arrival. Our hosts were very accommodating. Well kept grounds with views over fields.
