Gorgeous slice of home made apple tart and cup of tea to relax after my journey. Bed and room very quiet and comfortable. It was nice to stay in a little dignified Irish village like Silvermines. Far from the madding crowd of Dublin on my way to Shannon airport. I also felt my car was safe outside which is important to a driver. Helen was a chatty personable Irish host but not intrusive nor over familiar. I liked her professional approach.

She was observant enough to know what I liked and didn't like and offered me alternative choices such as mushroom instead of black pudding. I really would recommend Hawthorn View B and B highly.
