This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Barbara is a wonderful host. Great wit. Breakfast was perfect. Twin room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The peace and quiet. We slept so well. Very close to town centre. Barbara organised a booking at a perfect little restaurant whilst we were out road tripping the area to Kylemore Abbey and Clifden. Highly recommend a stay at Woodlands. Thank you Barbara you made us feel so at home.

The apartment is cosy, decorated with lovely furniture and items. We went during new year and they had a Christmas tree set up! The view from the apartment is amazing as it's located in the connemara national park. Donna was super friendly and helpful during our stay, giving us traveling tips and everything we needed. Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.
