He gave us so many tips about travelling through sumba and recommended us to join the sunrise trekking on the hills next to the villa. We paid only 250.000 and we got an incredible sunrise! The views were stunning and he loves to share his passion for nature and culture! The villa was in great condition and the breakfast was good. Our highlight was definitely his own weaving art. He has a little shop in the reception area with local pieces. But he mentioned that his profession is being a Weaver and he has higher quality pieces in his house. He invited us to his place and showed us all his work and we were listening to him for 1 hour. The pieces are made with such beautiful patterns ans designs. We bought one, and this is our favourite souvenir of 2 months travelling through Indonesia and Vietnam. If you stay here, make sure to talk to Freddy :)
