The owner is the sweetest guy who will help you in any way he can. The place is amazing, best hot shower he had in Sumatra. The room is large and the beds are so comfy and the balcony is large with an amazing view. Best place we stayed in sumatra.

Everything was spotless — super clean room, a big comfortable bed, hot shower, and great AC. The breakfast (made by Michaël) was delicious — and even served with a smile if you oversleep by more than an hour 😄 But the real highlight was the hosts, Dila and Michaël. They are truly the best hosts you could wish for — incredibly kind, helpful, and genuine. They helped us with everything: transportation, tickets, and local tips. Dila took us to the city and market several times and always managed to get us amazing deals. We feel so lucky to have met them — not just as hosts, but now as friends. ❤️ We can’t recommend Mila Homestay enough!✨️🔝

I did the 2 day/1 night Trek. The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.

Only accessible by motorbike, but the staff is super flexible and take you up and down to the town whenever you want (not needed and not expected but we tipped them a bit every time). We saw so many orangutans with them! Even when taking the trip to the batcave, but I think we were lucky. Would definitely recommend Batu Kapal!

We saw a lot of monkeys on our trekking with our awesome guides Fireman and Hussin. Also the kitchen was delicious. I recommend it!

She took the time to sit down and draw me a map of the town with interesting touristic and local points. She also arranged to have my laundry done in under 24h since I was in a big rush. Mery continued to help me even after I was gone - I messaged her two days later to arrange a transportation and she helped me. The room in itself was very comfortable, with hot water and good AC. The rooftop view of the city was a perk! Finally, the banana pancake for breakfast was delicious ☺️
