They were incredibly warm, involved, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. It was an unreal experience filled with kindness and beauty. Also, a big shoutout and “hi” to Lucy, the adorable dog who kept us company, and the “Big Greek chickens” who clearly run the place with their own special charm! Within 800 metres, you can reach the beach of Argassi. Zakynthos Town is 4 km away, while Zakynthos International Airport is 6 km away. Free private parking is possible. There are so many aspects of our stay at Alas that exceeded our expectations, the view, the location, room size & comfort, the breakfasts, and most of all the host, Nikos. We stayed at Alas for 11 nights, from the moment we arrived Nikos made us feel so welcome and at home. Throughout the trip he was kind, interested in us, and dropped everything to help us when he could. He was so helpful with recommending where we should visit on the island, activities and hikes, what restaurants we should try, as well as answering all our (many) questions about history, geology, and the culture of the island. He also made us the most fantastic breakfasts every day made from local ingredients, which was the best way to start our day after a swim in the crystal clear sea water off the deck.

The cats are very friendly and they come into the house :)
