I just have to thank Gianna Suites for making my first trip to Santorini and my 30th birthday celebration an unforgettable experience . My sister and I had a wonderful time ! This family-run property is designed in the traditional style of Santorini. Each of the rooms features en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff is very friendly, they gave me lots of recommendations and advice on how to get around. The location is perfect if you're looking for a chill place near the beach. The location in the heart of Amoudy Bay was phenomenal, the views unbelievable and the friendly and helpful staff were over the top. The owner and his warm family made you feel welcome, cared for, and appreciated.

Breakfasts served in the room were fantastic. The facilities were solid, especially the pool where our kids loved spending time at. The staff was also very helpful in helping coordinate our excursions. Fantastic experience!

Nadia and staff were helpful from the moment we arrived to our departure. Whether it was restaurant recommendations or helping to book horse back riding, Nadia and the staff were there. Breakfast on the patio every morning was excellent. The space was comfortable and clean.

Our family has never been so happy with a hotel experience! La Madeleine far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious, modern, extremely clean, the beds are comfortable, and the A/C worked great! The cleaning person was fantastic. She replaced ALL towels (for the jacuzzi and shower) daily, made our beds daily, etc. The rooms smell amazing, too. The location of La Madeleine is perfect. We assumed being in the heart of Oia during peak season it would be busy and noisy outside of the hotel. However, it was the complete opposite. It was quiet and relaxing. Even though a quick 1 minute walk (maybe less) from La Madeleine and you have everything at your disposal (restaurants, coffee shops, gelato, an assortment of stores, shops, etc). The suite we stayed in was perfect. You have your own private terrace with a table to eat at which is where they serve you your custom ordered breakfast. The day before you order what you would like from their menu and let them know a time and they deliver it straight to your room. The menu had a large variety to choose from. Eggs cooked any way you would like, omelets, fruit, sausage, toast, cakes, croissants, yogurts, cereal, cappuccino's, and much more. It is all freshly cooked that morning and it is delicious. The private jacuzzi was our favorite part of the room. We were pleasantly surprised with how large the jacuzzi was. The view from the balcony and jacuzzi was breathtaking. The real star of La Madeleine however, is Anna. I cannot say enough about how amazing and helpful she was. From ordering us takeout (multiple times), arranging transportation, to answering my many questions. She never made us feel like an inconvenience. She always made us feel like royalty and as if we were the most important guests in the world. Our stay would not have been as amazing as it was without Anna. We truly cannot wait to come back and stay at La Madeleine again! When in Santorini, we won't stay anywhere else!

This hotel, located right on the caldera, is a true gem. The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking – whitewashed houses clinging to the cliffside, the deep blue Aegean Sea, and sunsets that stay with you forever. It’s the perfect place for peace, beauty, and a touch of romance. The rooms are tastefully decorated in classic Cycladic style – simple, elegant, and very comfortable. The spacious terrace with a panoramic view is a real highlight. The biggest highlight, though, is the staff – incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. They make you feel truly welcome and taken care of throughout your stay. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed – highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

The location is great if you like less crowded places with less tourists and traffic - very different from Fira or Oia where you can't move without coming in contact with someone. The location itself was very clean and had a great view to the church and an old fortress (pro tip: visit the fortress for a chance to eat traditional food in a very traditional restaurant with a great view). Breakfast was included and it was very good but lacked in variety (if you stay longer you'll probably get breakfast at one of the restaurants nearby). Price-wise it was also very good considering it happened during high-season. Also the lady who was cleaning was very nice and welcoming as were the neighbours. The location is relatively close to the Red Beach and the sandy beaches (Perissa, Perivolos) where we spent the most time.
