She met us upon arrival and was so friendly and helpful. Monodendri is a lovely village- not too big and not too small. The hotel has a beautiful view and the main square is in walking distance. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures. Honestly, just delightful. Would definitely return.

The people were some of the kindest, most generous that we’ve met in our travels. One son speaks fluent English but even with limited English the other family members were helpful and welcoming. We were able to keep our room on checkout day since we had a late flight to Athens. Ask for a quiet room if you want to be away from the busy street between Virsa and the lake. The family has a little bar/cafe in front. Enter there for a welcome coffee and lovely people, then enjoy a bright and spacious room with a nice little balcony. There are stairs but family will help with luggage.

Exterior and interior both done with maximum attention to the details, hats off to the hosts! It feels so comfortable and clean, I didn’t want to have my shoes on, even outside. Special thanks for the homemade marmalade and goat milk butter, and freshly baked pancakes in the morning, also your spanakopita is amazing 🤤! This is real luxury! We will be back! (with some wine)🤗
