It is placed strategically in the liveliest location of the town, yet secluded enough to have peace and serenity. Moreover, the rooms are very nicely decorated and equiped, clean, tidy and cozy. It was an absolute pleasure spending time there. The host cared about every little detail and left in the rooms materials on what to see in Galaxidi and the surrounding area. She even left complementary welcome gifts, which is realy heartwarming. The host was also very throughtful of our privacy regarding to agree on times when to refresh the bed sheets. To conclude, being experienced travellers in Greece, I would confidently say that Galaxidaki is among the best accomodations in the country, and would be happy to spend time there again.

We visited in November, when it was very cold at night (c. 6 degrees Celsius), still the room was very warm and cozy. There is a fireplace in the room that works like a charm, no smoke or smell on clothes afterwards. Firewood is free. There are also other rooms to let, located further up in the village, where the breakfast is also served. The breakfast is basic but wholesome. The host is a very warm and welcoming person and a joy to talk to.
