The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. The room is beautiful and the bed is wide and super comfortable. I checked in quite late, and sent the message earlier so the landlord kindly manage to sent the instruction on how to find my room key which I found it very helpful. The room amenities also quite generous with tea and coffee collections and chocolate drinks. Thanks a lot 👍🏽

String of Horses lies in the middle of one of the most beautiful and historic areas of Britain: near Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District and the Scottish borders. The staff, atmosphere and location. The restaurant was also exceptional.
