Situated in Tarbert and only 43 km from Mitchell's Glengyle distillery, Kirkland House B&B features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is set 43 km from Springbank Whisky Distillery and offers a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Exceptional stay! I had such a wonderful experience at this B&B. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, the hosts were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed (plus some lovely thoughtful touches). Breakfast was absolutely delicious fresh, local ingredients and plenty of choice. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with great walks and views nearby. It’s clear the owners put real care into every detail, and it made my stay feel special and relaxing. I’d happily stay again and can’t recommend it highly enough!

This stay was an unexpected little spoil on our journey to Isle of Islay (only 15min from the Ferry Port) - Everything superseded any expectation we could have possibly had had. Andrea (and Kat) nailed this one. To top everything off...Andrea is an incredible chef and spoiled us with the most delicious 3 course dinner and morish breakfast. Bonus - all the ingredients used are self-grown. Absolutely Perfect! If you are in the vicinity - please go visit them. I promise it will be worth the trip. 10 STARS!!!!!

Absolutely perfect stay - cozy and beautifully decorated room, gorgeous location with many trails for long walks, kind and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast. The house is located about 20 mins walk/5 minute drive from downtown Oban but we had no problems walking or getting taxis in the evening.

Breakfast was really delicious as well, with a view of the ducks in the pond. The shower was amazing. We regretted only staying for one night, we will definitely be coming back.
