It was a great location for us to catch Le Shuttle to England the following morning, after a wonderful nights sleep and a great breakfast. No problems with parking, which was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to England from France.

Marion and Gilles' breakfast is one fo the best weve ever had - with fresh warm bread from the oven, fruit from the trees in the orchard... what more could you want? a fantastic sleep and wonderful sunsets and sunrises over the chateau! It was truly wonderful talking to MArion and Gilles and listening to their story of restroing the house and the grounds. I wish them the very best for the future and keep going! As architects, we know how incredibly difficult and tiring it is to restore a heritage asset. WELL DONE. perfection. we will be back to help you with the build!

The breakfast is very tasty and served by the owner himself, with some home made jams and other goodies. Over all, a very good choice if you mind price-quality ratio. Strongly recommend. Will stay there again if next time in the area.

We especially enjoyed the charming details added by Lea that made it so unique. The Internet was great and the television in the room had many channels not normally available in regular French hotels in several languages. We also loved the setting on a peaceful wooded green hill, overlooking the valley and the ocean beyond. A quiet piece of paradise that we would recommend to anyone passing through this area.

A continental breakfast is available at the bed and breakfast. We were greeted at the door by a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome and totally at ease. This was Virginie and Pascal and whilst Virginie entertained us in the living room, Pascal carried our luggage up three flights of stairs. Also, as we took a shower, Pascal booked an excellent restaurant nearby and even walked us to it so we couldn't go wrong. The next morning, we were presented with a most excellent breakfast at a time that accorded with our ferry check-in time. This breakfast included their own exquisite homemade jams and marmalades, and Pascal had gone out that morning for fresh bread and cheeses that were well chosen for quality. Car parking was outside the door but, Pascal offered us the use of his private site around the other side of the house. This bed and breakfast is exactly what good accommodation should be and is run by a couple who care about their reputation and offer what they would expect themselves. Consequently, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Le Clos Des Mouettes. Well done Virginie and Pascal.
