The property is located in a nice central area. It is clean, in fact it smells very nice when you enter inside. The room was clean, spacious and had a please temperature even if we didn’t use the electric heater. It is also nice that you have coffee, tea, and biscuits or other small bites to drink and eat in the morning.

Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and check-out, which is much better than places that have no staff at all, and rely on impersonal on-line communication and remote access to the premises. Loved the breakfast, which was included and served in a small, attractive dining room, with an attentive waiter on hand to make coffee and serve us. Appreciated the staff arranging a taxi to the airport, and another carrying our bags downstairs when the taxi arrived Beautiful spacious room in a grand old building, comfortable bed, air conditioning, luxurious shower room, lots of closet and storage space, view from the port-fenetres, quiet at night. We will return!!

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. The location is perfect. Short walks to all the main sights. Friendly staff and a very comfortable, clean room. An added bonus was the rooftop terrace! Just step out the door and a ride to the top in the elevator gives you an oasis amid plants and views of the city. Lots of chairs and lounges. We would rest up there for a couple hours at the end of the day before heading out for dinner.
