We had great communication with Ronny and were given a room upgrade, which gave us a private bathroom. We liked the decoration, hospitality and the possibility to park our bycicles inside the property. Breakfast was also nice with many local products. The town offers plenty of food and drink options and everything is within walking distance.

At the bed and breakfast, every unit is equipped with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. All units have private entrance. The units are equipped with heating facilities. We spent a night at Gunnar and Claudia’s Bed & Breakfast. Our room was very pleasant, the furniture and objects were chosen with great taste, the shower was very comfortable, and the bed allowed us to enjoy a truly restful night. The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. A heartfelt thank you to Gunnar and Claudia for offering us this little cocoon.

Each unit features a terrace, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a dining area and a flat-screen TV, while the private bathroom includes a shower and a hair dryer. A toaster and fridge are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. the location is lovely, we literally gasped when we arrived because we didnt expect it to be so nice. we got to experience the Danish countryside although we are still close to town. The hostess is lovely. We stayed in the 'house' which is a cottage on its own. Kitchen is well equipped with what we need, bed was comfy. Breakfast was delivered to the room and Breakfast consisted of eggs, warm homemade rolls (love it), cheeses and fruit, and juice – all very tasty. Wish we could stay longer than a night.

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had a wonderful time on Ærø at Aggershøj Pensionat. Line and Carsten are two wonderful hosts who also made their home a temporary home for us. With great attention to detail, they have created an open, welcoming place in Marstal.
