Very helpful owner - we were held up for over 2 hours driving through Germany and there was no problem with our later than intended check in - he even took the time to phone me back when I couldn't get through the first time. Very good and varied breakfast with local or home made produce - including lovely pancakes with rhubarb compote. Very spacious and comfy room. Though the bathroom and toilet were shared with two other rooms, this was in no way an issue. Definitely recommend this B&B for travellers.

The hotel is a historic inn in the center of a very small town. The room is basic, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The large bed is comfortable. The young woman who staffs the reception desk was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. The restaurant is huge and very nice! Apparently people come from all over the region for dinner. The large breakfast buffet has every possible option and is delicious. We really liked the fact that the hotel invited guests to pack a “to go” lunch from the breakfast buffet.

The rooms were large, with dining or lounge area and mini kitchen, with gorgeous private bathrooms. We dined in at night and the food was superb - it clear that there is a love and respect for fresh produce. We ate our own breakfast in the sun overlooking the beautiful garden.
