It's located in the heart of an incredibly beautiful Schierke just a couple of minutes away from the bus stop. The room is super clean and comfortable, breakfast is tasty and generous, and people are extremely kind and friendly. Hiking trails are nearby as well as the station of the tourist train. We loved this stay a lot, would highly recommend this place!

Impeccable apartment within walking distance to the old town and castle. Mr and Mrs Durwen, the owners, live downstairs and they have obviously gone to so much effort to anticipate every possible need of their guests. Despite being close to town, the apartment is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, so it was very peaceful sitting on the balcony and watching the castle light up in the evening.

A lovely family run place who even let me park my motorcycle in their garage. The room was so much bigger than expected and with fantastic facilities, even coffee provided! I only stayed for the one night but all the facilities for a much longer stay.
