Personally cooked and juiced by our host who took great care in ensuring that it was all as we ordered and delicious. It was wholesome enough to last us until the evening, so we could have a full day having fun without a need for lunch.

She also made arrangements for a guided night nature hike nearby that was very interesting and adventurous. The breakfast was abundant and delicious! I look forward to returning for horseback riding in the near future.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Primo and his wife welcomed us perfectly, taking care of all our needs, recommending good restaurants and a tour guide. The tranquility and atmosphere around were exactly what we needed after landing in Costa Rica.

At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast was wonderful. The place was very relaxing. Marion was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We would have liked to stay for longer!

All rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a wardrobe. If you want somewhere authentic, in the local village with great hosts Gloria and Sergio, do not hesitate to book here. Very clean, quiet, ideally situated. We did the night walk/boat with Gloria and Sergio which was amazing, definitely worth doing. If you need a taxi boat or want to do a tour of the canals, go through Owen, their friend. The traditional breakfast was delicious.

The accommodations were excellent. Tom patiently answered any questions I had. I also highly recommend the bakery downstairs. My family and I enjoyed the savory pastries and coffee.

Sightseeing tours are available within a reachable distance. Kids pool is also available at the bed and breakfast, while guests can also relax in the garden. We loved the location because it was quiet at night, only a 10 minute walk into town, and we felt very safe walking even at night. The parking area is enclosed so the car was secure. Nadia was a really wonderful host - very kind, gracious and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The room had its own mini-refrigerator plus we had access to a full outdoor kitchen, well-stocked with cooking supplies. We just loved lounging on our private balcony and at the shaded pool. The best part was that Black Bamboo provided free unlimited filtered water to drink and morning coffee. After traveling through Costa Rica and seeing how expensive things are (including water), we really appreciated being able to fill our water bottles there. Overall, this was a terrific experience and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
