Located within a few steps of Negra and 25 km of Jaguar Rescue Center, Casa Caribbean Coconut provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Cahuita. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. Personally cooked and juiced by our host who took great care in ensuring that it was all as we ordered and delicious. It was wholesome enough to last us until the evening, so we could have a full day having fun without a need for lunch.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. A unique place to explore Tortuguero. Primo and his family are lovely people and were very helpful to make our trip a very nice stay for us as family with two teenage daughters. It's a place where you can enjoy the quietness in the middle of the beautiful nature. A nice breakfast, great excursions with Angelo as local guide, ....

At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. That was our best stay in Costa Rica. Julien, the host, has a pure heart full of love for flora, fauna and is a great example of living a pura vida. He gave us best advices of the area, showed us around the property and village. Casa Mambo is very cozy, comfortable and really close to the beach. Breakfasts there were super delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer. Once we get back to CR, we will definately go to Casa Mambo.

All rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a wardrobe. My bf and I loved the hosts, humble and attentive. The hostess is very communicative, Gloria makes your stay pleasant due to the tours and advices she offers, the tours were guided by her husband, Sergio who speaks English as well, has lots of knowledge and the fact that you were in a private tour and transported from the Cabins to the tour and viceversa. It’s very secure and lovely

Very well kept with everything you might need. Easy to check in / out. Nice balcony. Situated close to the center of the town and on top of a small bakery with very friendly staff.

Sightseeing tours are available within a reachable distance. Kids pool is also available at the bed and breakfast, while guests can also relax in the garden. We really enjoyed our stay at Black Bamboo. Tonet & Nadia are exceptional hosts who made sure we felt welcome and were available all the time throughout our stay. The room was cleaned every day and laundry service was included, which was very valuable for us as a family with a small kid. The hosts even offered us sweet pancakes for breakfast some of the days, which was a very nice gesture. They also helped us figuring out the transport from San Jose to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and connecting us with the driver directly, which was very helpful. All in all our stay has been great and we highly recommend Tonet and Nadia’s Black Bamboo for a nice and relaxing stay on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.

A patio with garden views is offered in all units. The units feature a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).
