Set in the historic pedestrian area of Winterthur, the EMMA Bett und Bistro is housed in a stylishly renovated 16th-century town house. I stayed in the garden room which was quite simple but lovely, with private access to a beautiful green garden with several places to sit. Though the B&B is in the middle of the old town, the room was blissfully quiet, even when the garden doors and windows were open. Room had a small fridge, kettle with tea/coffee, and plates and cutlery for 2, plus a small table and 2 chairs - so one could easily bring in food and be able to eat in comfort. The staff were super-friendly and helpful, and I'd definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. BTW, the cheesecake in their cafe is heavenly!

The owner of this establishment was most helpful to me. Fantastic rural location yet close to the main town. Good restaurant, sadly no breakfast available. Definitely can recommend this place.

This stay was great! Easy to access! Nice and clean! It had everything we needed. The apt was quiet and comfortable. The check in/check out was quick and easy! The view of the lake was nice! The owners were helpful in showing us where we could park. Very clear instructions on this and check in/out. Would stay here again!
