EMMA Bett und Bistro is 600 metres from Winterthur Train Station. Numerous museums including the Art Museum and the Photo Museum are within 800 metres from the bed & breakfast. I stayed in the garden room which was quite simple but lovely, with private access to a beautiful green garden with several places to sit. Though the B&B is in the middle of the old town, the room was blissfully quiet, even when the garden doors and windows were open. Room had a small fridge, kettle with tea/coffee, and plates and cutlery for 2, plus a small table and 2 chairs - so one could easily bring in food and be able to eat in comfort. The staff were super-friendly and helpful, and I'd definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. BTW, the cheesecake in their cafe is heavenly!

Fantastic rural location yet close to the main town. Good restaurant, sadly no breakfast available. Definitely can recommend this place.
