Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised how well the property was maintained and managed. Food was amazing and make sure to try their sauna. Lovely and warm rooms. Skibus was right outside the property which was super convenient and took about 20 mins max to go up to Katschberg. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.
