one of the best experiences I have had. this is not just a nice guesthouse with a great view, new and very clean rooms in one of the most atmospheric areas of Aswan. this is a real immersion into the life of a beautiful Nubian family who take care of you. this is definitely more than just a business. this is the heart that is shared with you through every detail. JJ also has a boat that you can travel to the main tourist locations with a very friendly price that you won't find on the street. his wife is an amazing Nubian woman who cooked wonderful breakfasts and even painted my hands with henna as a souvenir. thank you, see you again!

The place is very nice, with kind and helpful staff. They offered hibiscus juice as welcome drinks and provided water throughout our stay. The owner Hafez was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and design is modern and comfortable but with a Nubian style. It’s also fun to stay in the Nubian village and we got to see crocodile in people’s homes. There was also a nice restaurant next door that we ate for both nights so after all we had everything despite it’s remote location and we don’t regret staying there because Aswan’s city center also doesn’t have much for tourists.

Staying at Nubian Soul was my best experience in Egypt. Bibo the owner assists you with everything, but gives you the freedom to make your own plans. We spent every night on the terrace having drinks and making music with the guests including Bibo. On a few minute walk you can have a swim in a oasis of the Nile. The breakfast and dinner made by Bibo’s mother are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend everyone going to Aswan to book this gem on Elephantine Island.

the location was great right.by the ferry easy to walk anywhere on the island. The room was large. The bathroom was modern with great water pressure. The entire guest house is really clean. There is a small kitchen with a fridge which was super convenient. Ahmed was very helpful and arranged some tours for me, he also had great tips about things in the area and getting around. the views from the patios are spectacular I loved my stay on the island.
