It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

A massive thank you to Greg and Helen —your warmth, hospitality, and attention to every little detail made this stay truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The space was immaculately clean, with fresh towels provided every single day. It’s the little touches that really stood out—beautiful flowers in every corner, and the most delicious homemade rusks that made our mornings extra special. The care and effort put into maintaining the space is unmatched. You can tell Greg and Helen genuinely care about creating a home away from home, and it shows in every aspect of the stay. We did a very last minute booking, which was handled professionally. Room was exquisite, very comfortable. Smallest attention to detail. Breakfast was the best! We didn't plan on staying in Hermanus, but were forced due to the fires in Gansbaai. We are so glad we decided to stay here.
