It’s a haven of peace, everything is perfect! Prince Albert is the place that reminds me of my childhood. What a joy to have been so well received, I recommend this establishment as the best in the city and as a hotel professional on the Côte d'Azur I know what I am saying. Don't change anything, thank you very much to the staff for the impeccable service. All that’s missing is a pétanque court and some pastis! Amazing.

I had stayed at this location many years ago and based on that experience I chose to book it once again for this South Africa road trip. It is in a perfect location in Prince Albert. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and settled in. The town had been without electricity for a number of days but the robust backup system for this place ensured that we lacked little. There is a great pool to cool off in and the gardens offer a quiet place to relax in. Highly recommend a stay here.

we liked everything! A very lovely guest house and lovely lady owner. beautiful garden with a small swimming pool. everything is very beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable. staying in this guest house is an experience by itself. we felt like we are Alice in Wonderland.

Jill was a wonderful host - she has created a very special oasis for her guests. We loved the cozy cottage which she has decorated with care. The rooms are cozy and there is air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped so we could prepare our own meals. There is a braai too (but we didn't have time to use it). She left fresh milk from the dairy in the fridge for us . She also brought us delicious home made muffins! The pool was a welcome relief on those super hot days. The property is peaceful and far enough from town to be quiet, but also close enough that we could walk to the excellent shops and restaurants in about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely tranquil place. I just wish we'd had more time here. Thanks for everything, Jill!

A gem of a find. Lavender Cottage was perfect for us. Very comfortable bed. Lovely sitting area with a view over the orchards with the mountains as a backdrop. Magnificent stars at night. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous staff - they did a huge suitcase-full of washing for us. Restaurant was superb - cauliflower soup was out of this world. Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing! The attention to detail was just so outstanding, this was absolutely the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Everything was so beautiful and a few extras thrown in to male everything even nicer. Good internet connection, and you hardly notice loadshedding, since wofi, tv, and lamps still work (and the gas kettle). Could have stayed here forever!
