The colour's, cleanliness, kind housekeeper, great security, quiet neighborhood. Clean running water and electricity were always available as well as emergency lights, smooth running wifi, some beautiful ornamental plants/landscaping to take in and use as photo background. Just exceptional!!

We had a lovely stay at Milner Manor. I was attending my graduation 3rd April 2024. The location was ideal. The staff was great we arrived a bit late than the scheduled time for check in, Natalie and Ziyanda made sure to welcome us with smiles. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, and the breakfast was tasty and filling.

Quiet place, comfortable bed and room, microwave and fridge per room, option to do laundry. The location is a healthy 20 to 25 minutes walk away from the city centre. But that also means no traffic around and the freshest air, with nice views. And Makhanda/Grahamstown has (cheap) Uber, and the two Uber drivers of the town (two brothers) by now know the place.

The property is in a great location near the schools and universities and is a large home converted to a boutique hotel. as a result the rooms are large and homely and it was all tastefully decorated. The breakfast (included) was great and we also had a lovely dinner served for us.
