The rooms are huge, cleaned every 2 days, clean towels every day and water. The staff is professional but welcoming and friendly. The restaurant downstairs offers a wide variety of well cooked food, excellent quality. The owner is a paddle board champion, if you want to have an unforgettable sunset experience ask Tony or Lek. We had a great time at Samed Big Tree, Tony's family has a contagious energy that floods your day with positivity, enriching your holiday. I really recommend to everyone if you are in Koh Samet, stay at Samed Big Tree.

We arrived 11.30 am and were allowed to leave our luggage. Then we checked in. Fantastic Location. Less then 5 mins to beach, restaurants,shops and local transport. Nice clean rooms,hot shower,great WiFi. No complaints.We would of stayed there longer but room always booked. I can understand why Happy@Samed is always in demand.

Incredible location, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the pier in the opposite direction. Right next to a really popular restaurant, Banana Bar, with plenty more just a stone’s throw away. Noise levels will always depend on the neighbours you get (we were lucky and it was super quiet), but you definitely won’t hear anything from the main road! Amenities all supplied, including a microwave and plenty of plates/cutlery. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower, air con was perfect. For an island stay this had absolutely everything we needed. Our host was so, so helpful. My dad cut his finger open and she showed up on her bike to take him to the clinic and then came back to get me. She asked on our first day when the best day and time for cleaning would be, and when we cancelled the cleaning she still brought toilet rolls and clean towels for us and left them outside. It was our first time on the island as we wanted to see if we liked it, and having this place as our base definitely helped us relax in a new environment and is part of the reason we’re looking forward to returning.

Great service, receptionist helped me out with renting a motorcycle immediately which was really helpful (I think it's run by the same people). Room was nice and clean, and the air conditioning was fantastic. Bed was also extremely spacious.

The lady who took care of us she's always smiling, she's just a very nice person. The older guy is always grumpy but I can see myself as him in a few years :) Even if they do not speak English, they were easy to communicate with.

- super friendly owner, pla was a legend. she helped me so much. - great location near the action but in a quiet side street with beautiful jungle bird sounds. - next to a really cool local temple - nice comfortable beds super fluffy - very cozy and nice room - great value
