I recently had the pleasure of staying four incredible nights at Backcountry Kopaonik in Serbia, and I must say, it was an experience unlike any other. Having traveled extensively across Europe for various competitions, I have never felt this level of warmth and hospitality at any hotel before. From the moment I arrived, the host, Zajda, and her husband went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They arranged everything seamlessly for my journey from Belgrade Airport to Kopaonik, ensuring I had no worries at all. Their kindness and care truly felt like being with family. One unforgettable moment was when Zajda threw water behind me for good luck—something so unique and thoughtful that it brought a smile to my face before my race. The food? Simply amazing. But what made it even better was the cook, whose talent and warmth elevated every meal. And I can’t forget the sweetest waiter who made dining such a pleasant experience. The vibe of this place is magical guests and visitors alike were so friendly with one another that it felt like a close-knit community. It was my first time in Serbia, and I felt like I was home. A special thank you to Zadja and her husband, who personally drove me to the mountain every morning for my snowboarding sessions and picked me up in the evening. Their generosity and effort were truly unparalleled. If you’re ever in Kopaonik, I highly recommend visiting Backcountry Kopaonik. It’s not just a place to stay it’s an experience that will make you want to return again and again. Believe me, once you stay here, it will become your permanent go-to spot in Kopaonik. Second time in this property, satisfied again. Family-run hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts. They really like and respect their guests. The place is clean, warm and comfortable. Very tasty dinner and breakfast. The ski lift is at 5 minutes by car. I can recommend this property without any doubt.

If you think you've met the ultimate hospitality, please believe me, you're wrong. To find the ultimate hospitality, you will have to visit Villa Mramor and meet Mr. Bratislav. Everything was exceptional from the moment we stepped into the villa. Mr. Bratislav is a man with a very good soul who gives anything to make his guests to feel extraordinary. Hospitality is at a completely different level. The food is extraordinary! Clean rooms! Very kind and attentive staff to all the needs of tourists. The transfer to the gondola is a big plus for tourists who come for skiing. We will definitely come back! Thanks for everything!

A beautiful boutique hotel that was very cosy with amazing hosts! The rooms were amazing and I loved the view from the roof window. The heating was phenomenal, and there was hot water available 24/7. The food was also exceptional, where all of the ingredients were locally sourced. As for the hosts - I can only say that they were amazing and I wish all the best for them!
