Excellent staff support. Any questions were answered straight away. Lady who cleaned and made breakfast really nice and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again if unable to stay with family, where I normally stay. Communal well equipped kitchen with a big table was a great bonus. Comfortable bed and clean room made my stay very pleasant.

Beautiful Property tastefully designed, cosy room and very comfortable bed. Have lovely welcoming amenities in a room, which you would might only get in 4* hotels. The owners are absolutely amazing - very warm, friendly , helpful. They def take very good care of the property and the guests - thanks a million ! We had such an amazing stay❤️ Outdoor swimming pool is huge plus as well.

The accommodation is in a great location, spotlessly clean and is a great sized room with a king size bed and large ensuite shower room and small but private balcony and is on the ground floor with only five steps to get to the room which was great as my husband has recently suffered a stroke and is partially paralysed. The hosts are fantastic and extremely helpful. They are local and very easy to contact if necessary. The accommodation is very safe with an outer security door plus a further 3 internal security doors to get to your room. Felt very safe and using keypad rather than keys was great.

With free Wi-Fi, Horta d’Alva is in central Castelo Branco. Set a 5-minute drive from the landscaped Bishop’s Palace Gardens, it has lots of free parking spaces.
