The owner Dennis and his partner were fantastic hosts who really made us feel like this was home for the duration of our stay here. We were provided with a full run down on the area and things to do on our arrival which was really helpful. The breakfast is among the nicest we have ever had on our travels and it really is cafe quality with the ingredients and the way it is presented. Eating together at the table with the other traveller's led to us meeting some really cool and interesting people in a great environment. The rooms are spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The property is social during the day but really quiet at night which was perfect for us. A stones throw from the beach for when you want a swim to cool down.

Highly recommend the place. Its serene atmosphere and location make the place a genuine oasis and haven from the world. The location is a huge plus, hidden from the busty Mancora allowing to take a breath and just relax, the beach is just few steps away which gives an opportunity to enjoy the place fully. Though what's more important - it's the people that make the atmosphere, and the whole staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. You really feel that people care, which make the experience even more serene.

Walter and Alicia, the owner of Pupukea House, are really lovely and helpful! They helped us organise tours and yoga. The room and whole apartment is super clean. There is everything you need: small kitchen, living room and pool area. Perfect for a little refreshment after a sunny day. Alicia’s breakfast is fresh, yummy and every morning different. The location is perfect if you need a calm place close to the beach. The neighborhood is authentic with nice restaurants / shops around. We felt like home here and can definitely recommend staying in Pupukea House :)
