I had a great night at Gumnut House. Maryann was very kind, welcoming, smiling and attentive; I'm delighted to have met her! I slept very well in this bed, the accommodation being very quiet. The whole experience was very satisfactory, from my welcome to breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this place for a stay in Whanganui!

Alan and Lois are superb hosts, They made us feel at ease immediately and we always felt relaxed in their company. You could tell they just wanted us to enjoy ourselves during our stay and made us feel more than welcome. The accommodation was clean, well appointed and luxurious. It is truly one of the best accommodations we have experienced in our 6 trips to NZ. Breakfast was an absolute delight with fresh homemade waffles and fine china. We loved their little pet bantam, Buttercup. She was almost as sweet as our hosts whose genuine consideration, humour and attention to detail made our stay very memorable.
