What a find, the house had been moved 220km to this amazing plot. It was previously a nunnery and all those features had been retained, so the wood and feel of the property was extremely relaxing. The grounds included a railway carriage you could stay in, a wooden boat, carousel, a little lake with a fountain, swings, rocking seats, huge bee structure, the most amazing glass summerhouse with table tennis facilities and outside seating. Kym was the most amazing host, nothing was too much. She arranged our Milford Sound trip on Cruise Milford and recommended the time we should leave and stop off points on route. What I have not mentioned is that the lounge as free beer,wine, tea,coffee and cookies. What more could you want. Breakfast included everything you could want from continental to cooked, selection of juices and tea and coffee. One night we decided to stay in and Kym let us use the kitchen to cook dinner for ourselves and one other guest that we met. Felt very sad to leave and would differently recommend and go back if we can.

Carolyn was a great, very polite and helpful host. We didn't expect an RV to be so cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped and had cereal, honey, tea, etc. in the pantry, like a proper house. We really enjoyed our stay.

We liked everything about Murrells Grand View House! Okay, the shower water pressure was a bit weak, but the house was built in the 1880's! Rob and his wife were fantastic hosts and their family home is stunning. The breakfast was perfect. Rob took our order and Philippa prepared it and we dined with other guests, sharing stories about our travels. We were taking a boat to Doubtful Sound for the overnight excursion and Rob and Philippa's place is perfectly situated. Rob said we could park our car with them overnight so we wouldn't have to worry about its safety. The walk to the harbor is about 300 feet so we're talking ultra convenient!

It was my best b&b during my travel.i really felt at home and jane even offered me to wash my clothes.

The facilities, the location and the breakfast were simply fantastic. The whirlpool, the super comfortable bed and the underfloor heating were my absolute highlights, almost better than Milford Sound itself :D. Laura and Derrick are super nice, helpful and quick when it comes to communication. I would come back anytime.

Nice and quiet place outside the city. Very fancy place close to the nature and animals. Neighbors has horses! I loved the privacy and really nice rooms with fireplace, hot hot tub, great coffee, family cat and dog and off course Jan & Jeff, was so so lovely that after 4 nights there I felt as I was leaving from my parents hose. I have been traveled a lot, but this house vibe and the people there was something different. Something for me to feel like I was at home.
