The room was extremely clean, more than big enough for the two of us and the hosts were extremely nice and down to earth. Great location with exceptional views of the amazing Kaikoura coastline and nearby Kaikoura mountain range. Added bonus for me was that the room has Sky Sport which was brilliant to watch a couple of Rugby World Cup games on. The hosts also recommended a couple of restaurants for us to go to, and these were amazing too!

Amazing place to stay, loved the architecture of the house, the layout, very fresh and clean, spotless, well equipped kitchen, fun to cook in and to stay in this beautiful place, with the nice garden. Great location opposite the beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable for our 2-night stay. The bathroom appeared to be renovated recently. Our hosts, Luke and Kylie, were very welcoming and helpful. The included continental breakfast was fresh and perfectly suitable for us as we are not big breakfast eaters. Our room, which was located facing the road, was very quiet. I'm not sure if the room at the back of the property would be a better option during busy times.
