Perfect stay, the suite was really clean and offered a nice bedroom, a brand-new bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and a living room with TV and kitchen equipment (microwave and fridge + some coffee, food etc.) The breakfast was nice as well (home-made cherry jam from the orchard and bread, milk, cereals...) Sam & Linden (and Ted, a lovely dog) were really nice and welcoming. They offered us a tour of the cherry orchard and gave us a box full of cherries before we left. Many thanks for the lovely and restful time we spent at The Mathstone!

This is just the most perfect home from home find. It is in a lovely little village/town and has a centre location. Attached is a great restaurant and it is surrounded by quiet seating corners in a secluded walled garden - perfect for that cup of tea or cool white wine. The owners David and Andrea are the perfect hosts making you feel at home while offering privacy and personalised comfort

What an amazing location, room and hosts. We had a double room (with a very comfortable bed and blockout curtains) (classed as a 2 bedroom but the 2nd bedroom was locked but we didn't need it). It included free fast wifi, a private bathroom with a spa bath, separate shower, kitchen with a 2 burner cook top, fridge with a small freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery, frypan and pots, kettle, coffee plunger with ground coffee and tea bags. The views from the room and property are wonderful. Set against the grape vines of neighbouring properties with hills in the background. There is outdoor seating and tables for you to enjoy the surrounds while you eat your free generous continental breakfast. Only 15 - 20 minutes from Frankston (Queenstown) in a quiet rural location. We would highly recommend this property. Arjun, in an earlier review, said that there were cameras in the room. We saw none, only smoke detectors. Google Maps was very accurate in getting us to our accommodation. We used the oil heater every night, and it was much appreciated. The bed has an electric blanket, but we didn't use it.
