The room exceeds the expectations of the most demanding traveler. It is quiet, clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The sights of Haarlem are within walking distance: the Frans Hals Museum, Grote Sint-Bavokerk, the Molen De Adrian Museum. It had been 10 years for my girlfriend to visit the Netherlands. So I wanted some place special for her to adept and us to be together the first days. And oh my... it was special. Very nice located with all green around. Ducks and Swans around, beautiful surrounding with stunning statues and greek atmosphere. I was just great to walk around. The inside was great, very cosy and a open fire in the middle. We loved it as well as the look and feel. Very nice and appreciated.

Amazing bnb in the center of Haarlem! It's only a 8-10min walk to the train station and just behind a bus stop. This is one of the most value for money accommodations in the whole of Netherlands in my opinion. If you want to avoid the crowds and chaos in Amsterdam city, stay in Haarlem for a more peaceful and cozy experience. In addition, it's only a 20min train ride to Amsterdam city. Plus, there are so many shops in Haarlem you might not even need to spend too much time in Amsterdam. I loved the room, though it is a little smaller - I feel like the size is very comparable to all the other bnbs out there. There is no toilet door though but I personally feel like it wasn't an issue. The pillows were the right mix of firm and softness but the bed had a slight dent/slant (?) which made us feel like we were falling into the middle a little. Not the biggest issue though! Comfort was still a solid 9.5/10. Biggest plus point is that this unit had an AC unit! Super helpful during the warmer days and colder days. When we stayed here, the bnb was going through an ownership change but the new owners were super helpful (even though they were super busy with the renovation as well) in assisting us during check in, and helping us out if we need. Shoutout to Sabine especially! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back :)
