The breakfast was amazing! Lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs and breads. The room was very comfortable, with a mini fridge, table, cutlery, dishware etc. Bike maps and travel brochures. Excellent view of the garden and windows that opened. We absolutely loved our stay here and would stay again 10/10.

I chose this place because it had a sauna - hadn't realised we would have a whole apartment, with private sauna and jacuzzi, as well as a pretty garden to sit out in. It's 1km or so from the centre of Zutphen, which was easy on our bikes, and nice and quiet in the evenings. We shopped at nearby supermarkets and made our own breakfasts and dinners. Very nice hosts, and one-off decor!

Arnold and Yvonne were very friendly hosts, even when we arrived later than planned because of traffic. Loved the breakfast 🥞 ...set us up for the day!!.....but especially the breads, charcuterie and scrummy fruit! As the weather was still quite cold especially the evenings, Arnold had pre-laid the fire in the stove for us so all we had to do was light it - it worked a treat! Arnold was always helpful and with suggestions for our visits - (we had come mainly for the art galleries nearby). The area was very peaceful and would definitely consider returning to spend more time exploring the area!

What a wonderful friendly and helpful staff. My father and mother stayed there for one night. They needed assistance as they are old and have some memory issues. The staff looked very well after them so they had a great stay in this superb location.

B&B 'Hemels' has a more than lovely atmosphere, a great vibe and a peaceful, lush view overlooking water. Communication with Betty felt like a summer breeze. Her effort to make you feel at home knows no boundaries, all bathed in genuine kindness. She elevated my stay to something unforgettable and definitely worth repeating.
