This is my honest opinion. I was in many guest houses and hotels. So, this is one of the best guest house to stay. Very clam ful. Staff best. It is worth the money. Superb. Firstly, the owner cannot do enough to make your stay successful. She was very attentive and helpful. As a solo traveller, I felt really well looked after, and I particularly appreciated knowing I had someone to call on in case of difficulty. (Not that there are difficulties to encounter in Colombo. It's a lovely city). The room was super comfortable, excellent bed and shower, and the mini fridge was a godsend. The hotel is far enough away from the centre to be calm and quiet but close enough to get to everything interesting with an easy rickshaw ride.
