I had a great stay! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dinner. They even prepared a special menu on request, which was a lovely touch. The owner is extremely polite and friendly, and they truly make you feel at home. You can tell they genuinely care about your comfort and experience. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great hospitality and amazing food!

The owners of the house were very accommodating. Basically they rent out 3 rooms of their house, but you can use the common spaces without a problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. You should definitely try the breakfast.

This place is amazing and decorated with taste, it’s like heaven, the owners Chana and Moon are just amaaaazing, sooo helpful and lovely, it’s really a place where you feel home far from home, you can ask them also for a tuktuk if your are staying for few days and want to see everything in a short time, I was with Gihan for 3 days and this driver is just a gem, except the fact that he knows, he is also kind and a very good photographer hahahahha, so if you are passing by Kandy, I definitely recommend villa olde for the stay and gihan for visiting around ❤️, thank you all for making my stay unforgettable that exceeded my expectations

Kandy Lotus Chalet is away from the noisy city center of Kandy. It is surrounded by trees and bird songs. Inside, the kitchen area is spacious and well equipped. The rooms are also very spacious with all the furniture needed. The AC works really well and is well maintained. Dasun, the owner, is really caring and did all in his power to ensure we had a brilliant stay. We highly recommend for one or several nights.

This Villa is a wonderful place, hidden from the busy city of Kandy but just 15’ by tuk tuk to the lake and the Tooth temple The room is huge, clean and nicely decorated…the owner is the artist :) Bathroom is perfect with hot water There is a garden in front of the room very quiet. It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families). The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.

Our two hosts were remarkably friendly, attentive and helpful. While the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Kandy (and is thus very quiet - a big plus in our opinion), the city centre and all the major sights are easily reachable by tuktuk. Our corner room with a balcony had a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast - especially the fresh fruit - was delicious, varied and more than we could eat.

We had a fabulous room on the second floor. Everything was very comfortable and convenient. It felt private with an outdoor dining area. A special like for the workspace, which is often lacking. The host was not very talkative, but kind and nice. Breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel is excellently located: the surroundings are quiet, and you can reach the main attractions and the city center on foot along the banks of a picturesque lake.
