The room was clean with one of the best bathroom plumbing we have seen in Sri Lanka so far! Great fan and very comfortable beds. The view was amazing! The home cooked breakfast and dinner so worth the money. The proprietors were amazing nothing was too difficult for them. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

I was very happy with my decision to stay here instead of a hotel in the city center. I could enjoy clean air and a peaceful atomosphere. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of trees and sound of birds. The staff were warm and very kind and they were always ready to help and support me. As a female solo traveler, I really appreciated their support. The owner gave me useful information about places to visit and was always happy to answer my questions. The communication was very smooth and he replied very quickly through Whatsapp and I really appreciated it. It was a home-stay like experience and I really enjoyed my stay.

Jaye was a nice and helpful host. I only stayed in Kandy for a short time but the homestay was great. Nice view overlooking the city but still walking distance to the center. Very clean and quiet. Would recommend!

It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families). The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.

Our two hosts were remarkably friendly, attentive and helpful. While the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Kandy (and is thus very quiet - a big plus in our opinion), the city centre and all the major sights are easily reachable by tuktuk. Our corner room with a balcony had a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast - especially the fresh fruit - was delicious, varied and more than we could eat.

We had a fabulous room on the second floor. Everything was very comfortable and convenient. It felt private with an outdoor dining area. A special like for the workspace, which is often lacking. The host was not very talkative, but kind and nice. Breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel is excellently located: the surroundings are quiet, and you can reach the main attractions and the city center on foot along the banks of a picturesque lake.
