Loved the hospitality and casual nature of this small family run business who were affected like all by the pandemic. The food was amazing and a nice change from all the fried dinners I have been eating. Anju has attention to detail and this place was excellent value for money. They arranged a 4 hour safari for us where we saw a lot of elephants, birds , 2 mongooses and one leopard. Safari was amazing because they provided our breakfast in to the jungle .So it's very calm place. There was AC and a fan, mosquito net etc… I was very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Mango Tree House. Sachith and his spouse are great hosts, extremely warm and welcoming. We also loved their friendly dog Shane. The garden is beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast there and the homemade food was delicious and perfect for my husband allergic to gluten and dairy. They allowed us to shower and check out after our safari. Thank you so so much for everything I definitely recommend

Beautiful place, nice big rooms. They served fantastic home made food. We had very comfortable stop there for one night,. It's very nice family owned place and they were helpful to organize safari and transport to us.

Photos don’t lie! The best value ever. The place is just so beautiful, calm and relaxing. Lush green garden and private access to the lake. I would advise eating all your meals at this place, the food is different every time, you get sooo much food served and it tastes amazing! The host arranged a safari for us, he even gave us water, biscuits and bananas for the way. He is very kind and his sister is the best cook!

Exceptional everything, location is amazingly peaceful right on a lake you can swim in, great safari, a/c room and I have to say the best meal I think I've ever eaten! Ridiculously cheap too

A beautiful place set in a stunning setting, simple rooms but everything you need. I loved floating in the river watching the birds and sitting by the river listening to the birds. Also the breakfast and dinner were really great. We saw a lot of animals at the safari park. The hotel driver Janaka is a very knowledgeable guide. Although many jeeps were speeding, the driver Janaka managed to get out of the way and go deep into the jungle to see the animals freely. They were very good at providing a perfect safari with perfect service.

We stayed in Ele Ants for one night. We came late, however, the hosts came to greet us and they served us delicious food. They were super nice and friendly. The apartment is new, very clean and well-equipped. The bed is huge! We loved the area when the apartment is placed and decorated with lights which creates cosy and romantic atmosphere. Our small suggestion is to put a mat or rug in the bathroom as when the floor gets wet after showering it gets very slippery and may be dangerous.
