Beautiful location, the views are outstanding. Rangala House feels like home, not a hotel. All the staff are very attentive, kind and considerate. I had the place to myself, along with Anthony, the lovely owner, due to cancellations following the cyclone. He is very engaging and we shared some deep conversations over dinner. The guide Niro (now known as Niro the hero!) and I hiked The Knuckles, we were the first to summit following the cyclone. It was cloudy and rainy but an excellent hike. We saw some fauna and flora which Niro had lots of interesting facts to impart. Throughly recommend visiting Rangala House. The people here are wonderful!

Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. such a peaceful place surrounded by nature. we enjoyed the colorful birds, the beautiful lake, the kind staff, the AMAZING food, and monkeys playing in the trees. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has great view. we did yoga twice with the sweetest teacher Christina, and she was fantastic - even though we were beginners she managed to make us proud of every little improvement and to make us thankful for our bodies every step of the way.

The space it offered, the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Raj gave us ideas of places to go and visit and explained things very well. The food was also delicious, we ordered dinner too, which was cooked very well and very reasonably priced.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean and the owners are the loveliest people you can imagine. The pool is very large, with both a shallow and deep end so the whole family can enjoy it and the children's playground is a treat to have onsite. Kandy is a very hilly city and Green View is set in the hills. It takes a little time to reach the downtown area but the hotel is happy to help you arrange transportation if you don't have your own and coming "home" to this hotel feels like entering a serene retreat. We would very happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

We loved this accommodation. Located in Rangala and not far from the Knuckles Mountain Range, our room had a fantastic mountain view. The room was spacious and clean and the owner was very welcoming. There is a beer house downstairs which was a great way to meet some of the locals. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Loved the personal touch and attention provided by the staff. We paid extra for meals prepared by the inhouse chef which were all DELICIOUS! All meals were beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Rooms are big and comfortable. The house manager assisted us with organisation of daily excursions and taking us to climb a nearby rock with exquisite views. We had an amazing three nights at this beautiful location and would love to return one day!

Fabulous stay, staff were very accommodating, beautiful villa with nice open spaces. Good view, and quiet neighborhood. A short walk to the main golf club as well if you need to grab a bite or play golf.
