The man running the hotel is very nice, the food is good (and a lot) and the hotel is in a very nice location. From the inside the hotel looks a bit older, but that's fair for the price you pay.

Fabulous stay, staff were very accommodating, beautiful villa with nice open spaces. Good view, and quiet neighborhood. A short walk to the main golf club as well if you need to grab a bite or play golf.

Everything about Rangale House is just amazing. The view from the balcony and room was so beautiful, the staff was welcoming and warm, the room was cozy and comfortable and the home made food is just delicious. We also went one a small hike around the tea plantages recommended by the manager. We would come back any day

Everything was excellent! We all were so tired the night we reached there as we traveled the whole day. But as soon as we entered the house it sparked, refreshed our mind. The host was superb and the breakfast was also good. I want to stay again! It was amazing for all the family members! recommending everyone to stay there..

Calm village with beautiful houses, rice paddies and small shops. The swimmingpool is big and good for swimming. The family is very friendly and helpful. The son helped me to get my dialog app, so I always have internet access. The father helped me get pick me app, so I easily can get a tuktuk to a local price. The family drives to Kandy city regularly, so I have been able to get a ride sometimes for free. It should also be easy to get to the city with bus. The breakfast is big and good. I got bread with butter and jam, fruit, pancakes with coconut sugar, omelet and tea. You can also choose local breakfast. I often had free lunch which was very tasty. I stayed for 10 days, because I liked that it was quiet, local, good food, swimmingpool, easy to get to the city, cheap and also a good workplace (I was working on a website). Remember to go to the local temple - it's like a hidden gem in the mountain. Ask the host😊

Had dinner at Kandy Calm Residence, and it was a fantastic experience. A proper home-cooked Sri Lankan meal with warm hospitality. The place is cozy and inviting, and the hosts incredibly welcoming. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices and home-style cooking, making the meal unforgettable. What made the dinner even more special was the personal touch, with thoughtful presentation and warm conversations with the hosts. It was more than just a meal; it was a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The accomodation is spacious, well appointed, clean and well presented. We loved this accommodation. Located in Rangala and not far from the Knuckles Mountain Range, our room had a fantastic mountain view. The room was spacious and clean and the owner was very welcoming. There is a beer house downstairs which was a great way to meet some of the locals. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was excellent.
